For Schools & Districts

How to deploy ElementVault in your classroom, school, or district.
ElementVault is an interactive periodic table with twelve chemistry calculators, a spaced-repetition study mode, and a curated reactions library — built for classroom teaching from middle school through university. No accounts, no student data leaves the device, no ads, free for classroom use.

Built for student privacy

Schools can request an analytics-free build for classroom deployment — a build with no Google Analytics, no Microsoft Clarity, and no third-party network calls of any kind. We provide it free of charge to verified school and district contacts.

How to deploy

Single Teacher · Single Class

Just open elementvault.app in any modern browser. Use the bookmarks toolbar to make it one-click for your students. No install step.

Classroom Chromebook Fleet

ElementVault is a Progressive Web App (PWA). Install it on each device using the browser's "Install" option (Chrome menu → "Install ElementVault", or the install icon in the address bar). Once installed, it launches fullscreen and works fully offline — no Wi-Fi required for normal use. Updates roll out automatically the next time the device is online.

District-Wide Deployment

Contact [email protected] for institutional licensing. Free pilots are available for verified districts. We will sign your district's Data Privacy Agreement (DPA), or use ours — see Section E.

What's included

Written for a curriculum director, not a chemistry teacher.

Interactive periodic table
118 elements with NIST-sourced atomic properties, isotope data, and electron-shell visualizations.
Twelve chemistry calculators
Molar mass, equation balancer, stoichiometry, pH & buffers, gas laws, unit converter, oxidation states, electrochemistry, VSEPR geometry, radioactive decay, solubility, flame test.
Reaction Explorer
38 named reactions with type taxonomy, enthalpy, spontaneity flags, and real-world applications.
Spaced-repetition Study Mode
Five curriculum tiers from middle school through graduate research. The same algorithm (SM-2) that Anki uses.
Material Decoder
"What's inside a smartphone, an EV battery, the James Webb Space Telescope?" — a curated library mapping everyday and high-tech objects to their constituent elements.
Lesson Companions
Curriculum-aligned activity prompts across five levels and twenty-four units, written for teachers as a starting point for class time.
Works offline. No accounts. No ads. Free for classroom teaching.

Accessibility

ElementVault targets WCAG 2.1 AA conformance. Known gaps are tracked in our changelog. We welcome feedback from teachers using assistive technology — please email [email protected] with anything we should fix, and we'll prioritize it in the next release cycle.

Data Privacy Agreement (DPA)

We will sign your district's DPA. Email it to [email protected] and we'll turn it around within five business days.

Most district DPAs are written assuming a vendor that collects student personally-identifiable information (PII). ElementVault collects none at the student level — Section A above describes exactly what happens on each device. We'll annotate the DPA accordingly during signing so the contract reflects what the product actually does.
